Award Winning Native American Recording Artist
She is a member of the Diné (Navajo Nation) originally from Waterflow, New Mexico. A Native American Music Award winner, Kansas has sold four albums internationally and traveled the world performing in countries like Japan and Russia. In 2013, she was crowned Miss Indian World, representing all Indigenous Nations across the globe. Kansas also holds a BA degree in Native American Studies from the University of New Mexico.
